David Smiddy
Dave joined the Company as a Director in 1993 having previously been the General Manager for a Shopfitting Company for six years. He became Managing Director of the Company 10 years ago. He started in the industry at the age of 16 as an apprentice joiner in the shipyards. He has worked his way up through all positions within the industry, from Benchand and on to Site Fixer, Bar Fitter, Site Foreman, Site Agent, Contracts Manager and Special Projects Manager. Not withstanding his role as MD, Dave continues to contract manage some of our largest contracts and enjoys involvement at the ‘sharp end’. He has a wealth of practical industry experience and there is little that he has not seen before. He is the holder of a CSCS Black Card in Construction Management
